• Network Control Technician III - Zayo Group
• Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the Zayo network by serving as the centralized technical expert in a rotational 24x7 environment.
• Regularly interfacing with Local Operations, Long Haul, Outside Plant Engineering, and Vendors to best isolate and resolve problems ranging from DS0 to Optical, Switch, Data, and Transport.
• Broad network background and solid understanding of DSL, T1, SONET, ATM, DWDM, TCP/IP, and SS7, as well as experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS) while troubleshooting voice and data circuits.
• Extensive knowledge of various network equipment (voice, data, and transport) to include Nortel, Infinera, Lucent, Cisco, Fujitsu, Tellabs, Adtran.
• Works as a first and second level escalation for network troubleshooting, switching, data services, and transport including call routing, switch translations, data routing and internal network transport topology and.

• Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the Integra network spanning 10 states by serving as the centralized technical expert in a rotational 24x7 environment.
• Regularly interfacing with Local Operations, Long Haul, Outside Plant Engineering, and Vendors to best isolate and resolve problems ranging from DS0 to Optical, Switch, Data, and Transport.
