David Maez graduated from the University of North Texas in 2005 with a degree in Journalism and Advertising. His first venture was a digital and guerrilla marketing company called Silverback PR. The company created real estate video tours (pre-YouTube) before video marketing was a “thing.” Initially, David obtained his real estate license to utilize his marketing skills and make some cash while running his other company. But after closing a few deals as a REALTOR®, he became a full-time REALTOR®. A short time later, his mother, Bernice, also a REALTOR®, and David created a top-performing team, The Maez Group, with RE/MAX. But being the serial entrepreneur he is, that just wasn’t enough ….. And in 2011, the family brokerage, VIVO Realty, was born. David is currently the Broker and co-founder of VIVO Realty, where he helps recruit, manage, and train his agents to lead successful real estate businesses. Additionally, David is a TREC-certified instructor. For over six years, he taught all Qualifying Education courses at Champion’s Real Estate School as one of the most sought-after Instructors! As a marketing expert and 1-Page Marketing Plan Coach, David is a professional speaker and coach who enjoys training and consulting agents and brands on their social media, branding, and content strategy. David is also a Co-founder of INJEXED MedBar with his wife, LaDelle Maez. INJEXED is a MedSpa specializing in injectables and laser hair removal. David resides in Plano, TX, with his wife LaDelle, three kiddos, and three furry kiddos: an 88-year-old *dog years* Boston Terrier named Alfred, who only answers to Alfie, a chubby and quite lazy English Bulldog called Toro, and a small black Pug called Ringo, who has to wear a diaper when he’s in the house. David seeks action in business and life, whether running with the bulls in Pamplona, whipping around corners in his Porsche 911, or swimming with a shark in the Bahamas (a friendly Reef shark named Toby). One thing's for sure: whatever the future holds, we can guarantee it won't be boring!
