David Malcolm McGruder graduated from Morehouse College with a degree in political science and was awarded the 2011 Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Prize. He earned a masters degree from Princeton Theological Seminary where he was awarded the Aaron E. Gast Prize in Urban Ministry. David is currently pursuing a masters degree in history, politics and religion at Wolfson College, Cambridge in the U.K. His research interests include postmodern theology, continental political philosophy, hermeneutics, critical theory, and Africana studies. David’s prior ministry, professional, and community service experience includes work with the Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, The Black Church Center for Justice & Equality, the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, J.P.
