Working in a department of six IT professionals I am responsible for the development and maintenance of the MyJobGroup websites primarily using PHP and HTML. The websites are compatible with all the main browsers including IE8 and Firefox3. The 100+ recruitment websites provide recruiters and candidates with an online system to advertise and apply for jobs.

During my degree I spent three months on an internship, where I developed and tested a system that restricted customers to deposit a maximum of £1000 into their bank account per transaction. The project involved working with a team of four developers and two hardware vendors, to a tight deadline. I was responsible for making sure that the system would.

During my degree I partook in a year long group project. The project required working alongside the NHS Barnsley Doctors to upgrade their current PDA system, as the doctors required a solution that would allow them to make notes about patients, when on home visits. The system would then need to automatically update the patients' records upon the doctors'.
