Responsible for the design, programming , installation and testing of Software, Electrical and instrumentation panels, as well as configuration, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of SoloPower tools, components and sub assemblies, with respect to functionality and safety maintaining and updating all relevant documentation.

As a Controls Engineer I had the responsibility of using Allen Bradley Hardware and software to handle and transfer glass material from rough product to finish goods. Other responsibilities included managing and scheduling preventive maintenance to Motoman robots.• Maintained and programmed Motoman HP50 and DX1350 robots using the NX100 controller for handling glass.• Maintained and programmed laser mechanism using Yaskawa Controllers and AB PLC.• Troubleshot and repaired conveyor mechanisms using AB PLC software. • Designed and specified new test fixture to maximize the quantity of product on a pallet.• Designed and implemented a HMI solutions using Wonderware InTouch10 to control and retrieve data from process tools.• Designed and implemented an AB Panel View HMI to control and retrieve data from process tools.• Trained technical group in how to recover process tool using HMI screens.

As a Controls, Firmware and Test Engineer I had the responsibility of programming the atmel’s avr mega micro controller. All programming was done in the C language with some assembly implementation. As a Test Engineer I had the responsibility to test and ensure all products were working to the right specifications. Responsibilities included testing of new products, design of new test fixtures and test procedure write up. • Designed and implement a chemical dispensing mechanism using AB PLC.• Designed and implemented real time small embedded system for the Atmel avr micro controller.• Tested electrical products to ensure full functionality. • Designed and specified new test fixture to test products.• Trained technical group in how to test products and use equipment.

As a test engineer, I had the responsibility of developing test programs and ensuring higher quality yields in production. Programs that were developed in HP-Basic and ran with awk script files to create multiple and very efficient result a faster than usual pace. Also, created test procedures for different types of products and trained a group of three to seven technicians to ensure proper testing of products.
