Binding Solutions owns a proprietary, disruptive technology which pelletises iron ore, waste steel fines and other fine materials without the need for large, $100MM+ plants or large amounts of harmful binding materials.The technology is already in commercial use; over 1Mt of pellets have been produced to date at the first commercial plant in the UK.The technology is able to pelletise iron ore concentrate into a high quality pellet equivalent to an indurated pellet, with 90% saving in capex compared to an induration plant, using only 0.5% organic, harmless binding material.The technology also pelletises all Fe bearing waste at a steel plant into a pellet which can be reintroduced as primary feedstock, but containing only 0.5% harmless, organic binding material.see less
