Investigate chassis and or powertrain quality issues on Hyundai, Genesis or Kia vehicles responding to requests from Hyundai Motor Group, sales affiliates, vehicle assembly plants, and sudden increases in warranty claims.Conduct field or on-site investigations to collect subjective and objective data during driving to identify concern condition.Gather driving condition, record and analyze data to diagnose root cause.Lead new model quality activities and schedule N.A. pre-launch activities for both HMC and KMC new models.Mentor junior engineers on best practices and facilitate learning on the jobLead development in collaboration with other groups/affiliates of test plans for the various quality tests done for new models including Ride & Handling, NVH, Shift Quality, Hot and Cold weather testsManage schedules and advise outsourced companies to assure all deliverable's are met as per contract.Assist vendors and triage issues that may arise to maintain schedule.Provide weekly management progress report.Lead identification of major quality concerns for New vehicle models and provide Engineering analysis and research results for 'lessons learned' on current and future models.Benchmark competitive vehicles to research differences and improve Hyundai/Kia vehicle systems.Research, procure and maintain new technology, tools, and methods for data acquisition or analysis.Conduct vehicle audits for Hyundai & Kia models during developmental stages and after vehicle launch.Create and present technical reports as assigned.Perform additional projects as assigned.

This is a student based engineering competition where we design and build a F1 style open wheel race car and compete every year with 150 schools. I am in charge of over seeing the 2019-2020 Suspension Subsystem to completion. I manage a six man section that also includes new members helping out. I develop task and goals for my section. Along with updating the team every week in our weekly meetings. I help trouble shoot problems that occur in my section along with other sections. I work among the Frame Lead, Electrical Lead and the drive trained lead during the whole design process. I work with the captain and business team as well to coordinate the amount of funding I will need or get.
