Starting out at Allison Consulting Limited, as a junior developer, I was unafraid to voice my ideas and push through designs and technologies. Before the advent of warehousing engines, I championed the rewrite of overnight processes and storage of aggregate information within executive information systems. It was my vision that led us to be early adopters of Microsoft's SQL Server technologies. It was through my analysis that we adopted an n-tier design, and took what was considered a risk on the extremely new and at the time, relatively unproven .NET1 as the platform for GEMS (previously Pack.NET). Inevitably my career developed appropriately from Junior Developer through to Senior Developer to the point where in 2004 I took on sole responsibility for all software development at Foresite Systems Ltd. and then on to form, with partners, a company in 2014.Today, I'm excited to be working in the rapidly evolving world of Cloud Computing, designing solutions that are built with change in mind!

Developments to EPR (Packaging Waste, WEEE and Battery directives), RoHS/REACH and more recently Conflict Minerals continue to be represented within the system with ease.I pushed forward the concept of an internet based application leveraging a 3-tier design based on MS-SQL at the data layer, Web Services at the logic layer, and .NET WebForms at the presentation layer.
