Designated School Official (Sevis)
Current• Maintain and safeguard the accuracy and security of students' academic records • Manage the registration process for future and current students • Maintain and monitor attendance records • Ensure that the campus is compliant with DOE and SEVIS regulations, policies, and procedures• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and other interested third parties• Assist students transferring to the school (verifying documents in the file, making requests, consulting with the former school, etc.)• Confer with students interested in transferring to another school and will collect the proper transfer forms, acceptance letters, etc., as well as the proper approvals from the Director• Contact students about reenrolling and about maintaining their status as full-time F-1 students. This includes alerting students nearing their I-20 program end date• Review and process all paperwork involved with student completions and terminations and ensure that students are notified of their status
