In the 1990’s, with his partner Russell Fine, Marshall launched the first legal online gambling company in the US – Youbet.com. The company pioneered live online pari-mutual wagering on horse racing, and when combined with its land-based tote services, processed over 40% of all US horse race bets ($8 B+ annually). As Founder, Chairman and CEO of Game Play Network (GPN), he currently manages a company with the largest footprint in the United States for Slot style mobile gambling. Prior to co-founding the new iGaming venture, Marshall was the founder and chairman of ProElite, which partnered with Showtime and CBS to become the second largest mixed martial arts (MMA) league in the country, Santa Monica Media Corporation, an early generation Special Purpose Acquisition Corporation, and several other public companies.
