Highly organized and detail-driven, with six years of professional experience in the field of engineering science and mechanical design. Experienced in the entire entire prototyping process, from initial conception and discussion through 3D modeling and machining to assembly and testing. Currently enrolled full-time for a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Demonstrated history of developing novel and reliable diagnostics for plasma physics research on fusion energy devices. Experienced with optical systems, cryogenics, ultrahigh vacuum conditions, and magnets (>5T), with all their associated design challenges. Also intimately familiar with in-vacuum optics, vacuum gauging/pump systems and in-vacuum manipulation and measurement.With my team, I’ve designed and built a variety of assemblies for DIII-D, ASDEX, NSTX-U, KSTAR, EAST, LHD, WEST, and W7-X tokamaks and stellarators. My tireless attention to detail and manufacturing expertise has led the team to worldwide recognition and multiple published papers and provisional patents.At my current position, my successes have stemmed from my adaptability in bringing innovative design solutions to a variety of projects and simplifying existing designs to increase reliability and decrease maintenance costs.
