Study of a new protein phosphatase involved in the PDGF receptor signal transduction and trafficking. Using cell culture (NIH 3T3 and MEF cells), siRNA transfections, immunoprecipitation and western blot, I characterized the new protein HD-PTP (His-Domain Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase) in PDGF induced fibroblast. My project was to elucidate its role in PDGF.
