    Recruited to Michael Hill Jewelers as a Manager in Training (MIT) in Niagara-on-the-Lake. In this role, while completing Michael Hill’s Accredited Management and Sales Training classes I also assisted Niagara in nearly doubling year over year sales. The successes of our Niagara store encouraged a promotion to Store Manager in Guelph at our Stone Road location. During my tenure as Store Manger in Stone Road I recruited, trained and developed consistent performers who allowed our store to achieve over 110% to budget. Growing the credit business of the store more than 3 fold assisted the achievements at Stone Road. In my time at Stone Road I successfully promoted one MIT to Manager and played a major role in the development of others. The ability to train and develop sales professionals as well as MITs encouraged upper management to enroll me in our Emerging Leaders Program. Before being promoted to run our St. Laurent Mall Location Stone Road also boasted the second highest items per sale of Michael Hill Canada. Currently managing our St. Laurent location in Ottawa where I have successfully assisted in developing 2 of the regions top 10 sales professionals. Recently enrolled in the MIT Coach program to assist in the training and development of MITs outside of my store. As my role as grown and evolved within the business, however, one thing has remained consistent – I have helped 1,000s of customers brighten up the special moments in their lives.
