CurrentChief Underwriter for the individual life product line. Responsible for managing our facultative underwriting team; motivates and delegates tasks to a group of experienced underwriters, setting goals and guiding their ongoing learning and development. Participates in directing day-to-day operations, as well as development of internal guidelines and procedures. Provides direction to systems and technology enhancements associated to the underwriting process. Manages contact with our various client companies, handling inquiries and managing the facultative submission process. Involved with management of vendors utilized for Gen Re's underwriting.
