Commodity Analyst
In my third and final Professional Development Rotation, I served as a Commodity Analyst in our Commodity Optimization group. This group is responsible for modeling, managing, and reporting Williams' commodity exposure and liquids margin as a result of the contract portfolios we have at each of our various processing facilities. My responsibilities in this role included:- Maintained and updated a financial model projecting the company wide net liquid margin based on current equity NGL positions, current commodity pricing, and contract terms and conditions- Communicated net liquid margin to Senior Management on a weekly basis- Responsible for understanding and communicating natural gas, crude oil, and natural gas liquids markets- Contributed to the development of a weekly report containing enterprise wide gathering and NGL volumes by area, commodity pricing, and safety metrics and distributed the report to Senior Management- Updated daily our pricing model which tracked daily posted prices for all natural gas and NGL products at various pricing points pertinent to our facilities- Compiled and published our daily operational exceptions and pricing report which was distributed to management across the company- Served as a backup Commodity Rep for all areas, modeling the various individual plants and systems to help maximize profitability of each plant

As a member of Williams three year rotational program, I had the opportunity of serving in the following roles:Measurement Assurance Analyst (June 2011 - December 2011)Project Analyst (December 2011 - June 2012)Safety and Health Specialist (June 2012 - April 2013)Commodity Analyst (May 2013 - February 2014)The Professional Development Program is an intensive three year rotational program designed to accelerate learning and provide exposure to many facets of Williams business. The goal is to give participants a breadth of expertise and provide leadership opportunities to prepare candidates for success in a variety of roles across the enterprise. The PDP offered leadership development through challenging work assignments, continuous feedback, formal training, assessment, networking, coaching and active career planning. Through this program and other Williams opportunities, I was able to be involved in other areas such as:- United Way Day of Caring Volunteer- Tulsa Food Bank Volunteer- Social Ambassador: Represented Williams by speaking at campus events- Greeting Ambassador: Welcomed potential candidates as they await their interview to make them feel welcome and ease their nerves- Career Fair Ambassador: Represented Williams by recruiting for top talent on campus- Williams Interviewer: Interviewed business students from multiple universities and made recommendations for our summer 2014 and summer 2015 internship program- Internship Mentor: Provided guidance and support for an intern during their summer experience (2012, 2013)- Business Internship Coordinator: Assisted College Relations and the intern Managers by monitoring summer interns in Tulsa (2013) and Houston (2014)- Williams United Way EOT Liaison: Set goals for Operational Excellence participation; Communicated goals, activities and status with OE leaders; Facilitated participation from OE leaders for all UW events; Recruited team members for other UW activities

My main responsibilities for this role included:- Served the Measurement Services Group with the proper design, implementation, and exercise of the company's measurement quality assurance programs and auditing functions- Participated in the review, update and testing of monthly gas balancing action control reports SOX processes, procedures, and key controls to ensure complianceIn addition to serving as a Measurement Assurance Analyst, I spent 6 months in our Financial Project Analysis group after Williams spun off WPX. Here, I served as a Project Analyst. My main responsibilities included:-Assisted in capital investment analysis-Prepared presentations with key financial metrics to be reviewed by the Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and other Executive Officers as needed to aid in capital decisions
Conway Commercial Development Internship
As an intern for Williams, I worked in our Conway Commercial Development group responsible for our fractionation facility and underground NGL storage caverns in Conway, KS. My roles as an intern included:- Tracked customers contractual NGL storage capacity compared to actual storage by pulling reports and inputting the date into excel models- Assisted with scheduling truck and rail distributions for our customers
