Overseeing operational processes and procedures to ensure the system operates reliably and securely. This involves continuously monitoring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and working closely with business units. It also entails managing the 911 Support program, handling staffing and training, and dealing with operational contingencies. The role covers various tasks such as ensuring compliance, promoting collaboration, providing emergency support, managing staffing and training, and planning for unexpected situations. The position dramatically helps improve the distribution system's efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Coordinate and schedule a variety of maintenance, installation and repair projects. Allocate and assign work crews to specific jobs based on job requirements and staffing availability. Perform documented safety inspections of line crews and field personnel. Respond to customers' concerns or issues (residential, commercial and municipal) by conducting physical site inspections with a strong commitment to health, safety, and environment protection. Investigate worksites for planned projects to determine necessary safety precautions, special tools and equipment, in addition to other special project requirements.

Provide leadership for successful day-to-day operations and responsibility for ensuring that staffing and competency levels are achieved/exceeded in all aspects of Control Center processes. Encourage and promote a continuous improvement environment by dealing directly with territory leaders to ensure efficiency and understanding. Ensure Operators have proper orientation, training and development opportunities. Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity. Work closely with the team ensuring awareness and understanding of current safety requirements. Provide a safe workplace for employees, contractors and the general public

Monitor and perform real-time actions to ensure safe, reliable, and economic operation of the electric distribution system during normal and emergency conditions. Utilize the Advanced Distribution Management System to efficiently analyze, prioritize, and manage outages. Issue and release hold-off tags to provide a safe working environment for electric line technicians. Perform electrical distribution switching procedures during scheduled and emergency operations. Coordinate switching operations with field supervisors and field crews as necessary.

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair power lines and cables that run between electrical distribution systems, towers and poles. Assemble, erect and maintain steel, wood or concrete poles, towers and guy wires. Splice, insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power distribution networks Maintain and repair overhead and underground power lines and cables and other associated equipment such as insulators, conductors, lightning arrestors, switches, transformers and lighting systems.

Primary responsibilities include unloading, receiving, and down-stacking produce pallets. Maintaining a clean and safe workplace environment by organizing and stacking empty pallets. Check-in deliveries and talk with your coworkers about incoming produce.
