I set up a committee in 2007 to promote and celebrate the 200th anniversary of the opening of Thomas Telford's magnificent bridge at Dunkeld in Scotland. I put together the team, and drove forward our event planning for the weekend of celebrations.It was a fantastic success, which involved the whole community, the school, church and local and national dignitaries. We also raised over 500 pounds for local charities.
