He knew exactly what every engineer or EM needed to grow to the next level, his organizational skills were world class, and his enthusiasm and desire to connect with others was shining and paramount. His attitude of "I will always do the right thing by the employee" was unparalleled, many people speak it but I saw Dave live it. Dave has had many jobs in his career, but summed up, he just fixes things. He defaults to action. He'll never say "not my job" - he will always spend time to leave every person, program, process or service he encounters better than he found them.
