With over forty years in the building industry David has gained a proven track record of leadership. His experience as a carpenter apprentice in the early 1990’s to his leadership roles throughout the years in sales, marketing, operations, and non-profit work has given him a reputation as an industry leader, as a driving force for better building practices, and a driven energy efficiency advocacy.Past President of Rebuilding Together-Nashville in 2007 – 2011; a non-profit dedicated to helping low-income homeowners with household repairs, health and safety measures, energy efficiency and conservation upgrades to make their home more comfortable but most importantly more affordable. With David's leadership and industry knowledge he and his colleagues developed the GREEN-Together program and case studies to show cities across the country that introducing energy efficient technologies is affordable and much more impactful compared to the typical weatherization programs alone.David's current role as Senior Vice President of Operations at Operation Finally Home (OFH) is focused on operational excellence. Today LP TechShield in the #1 brand of radiant barrier structural sheathing in the industry. One of the most significant achievements in David’s time in this role was representing LP in developing the structure and chairing a Code and Legislative Committee for the Reflective Insulation Manufacturers Association-International resulting in acceptance of radiant barrier language into the International Code Council’s (ICC) International Building Code (IBC). This is the first time the radiant barrier technologies have been published in the ICC publications.
