• Provided technical leadership for a team of 8 developers who were relatively unfamiliar with each other and spread across two team rooms while being tasked with rewriting the revenue generating portions of a $40 million dollar e-Commerce site (www.entertainment.com) in 2 months. The technologies that were utilized were new to the majority of the developers (JSF, Hibernate, OCP by Fry, SVN). The launch was on time and considered a major success as it marked the first time that the organization was able to utilize CMS in a meaningful way across the site while improving page load times.

• Designed and implemented an inheritance-based control and presentation tier in ColdFusion that led to improving the TTM for Entertainment’s B2B co-branded websites from 1 month to ½ day turnaround time.• Developed an internal mass mailing system complete with administrative interfaces and reporting capabilities in 2 months that saved the organization roughly $1 million dollars annually.• Converted a dated table/column based persistence layer to a serialized, semi-structured, approach that greatly simplified session management and reduced development costs for all ColdFusion projects going forward.

• Managed 2 developers, 1 technical support individual, multiple servers and an office location that was separate from WdWeb’s primary office location.• Handled technical calls with clients and coordinated all development and support activities.
