• Managed approximately 10 to 15 software projects/platforms across 3 to 4 vendors and internal engineering teams concurrently.

• Worked on scaling a Lucene search implementation from handling under 20 million documents to handling over 170 millions documents.
• Provided performance and architectural guidance for the implementation of the search assist, publication search and custom product enhancements to Cengage's Lucene search implementation.

• Transitioned a 7 developer team to Jira / GreenHopper and SCRUM complete with 2 week sprints, retrospectives and burn-down charts to track productivity.
• Worked directly with the CMO to develop a strategy for mobile and social initiatives.
• Coordinated mobile vendor selection and managed ongoing vendor relationships.
• Developed conceptual models for a new Content Delivery System.
• Developed a “Pay Per Print” pilot program to test consumer willingness to purchase individual coupons.

• Provided technical leadership for a team of 8 developers who were relatively unfamiliar with each other and spread across two team rooms while being tasked with rewriting the revenue generating portions of a $40.

• Designed and implemented an inheritance-based control and presentation tier in ColdFusion that led to improving the TTM for Entertainment’s B2B co-branded websites from 1 month to ½ day turnaround time.
• Developed an internal mass mailing system complete with administrative interfaces and reporting capabilities in 2 months that saved the organization roughly $1 million dollars annually.
• Converted a dated table/column based persistence layer to a serialized, semi-structured, approach that greatly simplified session management and reduced development costs for all ColdFusion projects going forward.

• Managed 2 developers, 1 technical support individual, multiple servers and an office location that was separate from WdWeb’s primary office location.
• Handled technical calls with clients and coordinated all development and support activities.

• Proposed and led the development of DNS2Go (www.dns2go.com), which was an early to market dynamic DNS service.
• Re-factored all of Deerfield’s websites eliminating approx. 90% of the code that was previously maintained.
• Provided direction and mentoring to other ColdFusion and C/C++ developers.
