The University of Roehampton employs 1,200 staff across a wide range of academic and support departments. Multi-site campus with centralised HR function. I lead the Universities Reward and Recognition agendas including: Management of promotion, progression and senior staff/professorial pay review processes, providing analysis of potential costs and market data and acquiring input clients and external sources. Management of job evaluation, market pay, additional allowances and equalities audit processesSupporting organisational strategies and goals relating to staff experience and people management, e.g. Investors in People.Providing consultancy, coaching and development to senior managers on the Reward considerations of restructuring programmes. Providing input into the HR Department’s strategic planning and work programmes.Advising managers and staff on the University’s HR policies and procedures. Member of the University’s Staff Development Advisory GroupProjects:Projects led include implementation of the National (Pay) Framework Implementation project at the University. Project scope included:Development of a single pay spine for all staff groups (previously seven pay schemes), and development of associated grades. Steer through an approval process involving Trades Unions, University Executive Committee and University Council. Development of harmonised terms and conditions of employment for all staff groups.
