As a Business Technologist at Unit.X, a new multidisciplinary unit of Axians focused on high added-value “special projects,” I am dedicated to transforming critical public services via mass transformative projects with a broad impact on society. Within Unit.X, I bridge expertise from business and technology, with a focus on emerging technologies such as IoT, Digital Twins, and the Metaverse.My aim is to anticipate future trends and accelerate new offerings for critical services, complex ecosystems, and critical resources. In my role, I focus on the design of projects that build on the potential of technology to drive innovation and translate that potential into actionable strategies that transform Axians' target markets, help organizations stay ahead of the curve, and achieve their goals.As an innovation groundbreaker over the last 15 years at Axians and Novabase, I have helped design new offerings in various sectors, including the health sector with patient remote monitoring solutions for the Portuguese Ministry of Health, the banking sector with award-winning solutions for BPI, and the government sector by reengineering entire applications for CGA and AT.My problem-solving ability, high expertise in IoT, mobile, and Cloud, and certifications as a Scrum Master by the Scrum Alliance, Microsoft Certified Professional, and AWS IoT certified, enable me to design and participate in many projects, helping define the best way to implement, coordinate, and lead the development of those solutions.More recently I am investing in new fields such as Digital Twins, as I have seen firsthand the transformative impact they can have on industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation.I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from ISEL – Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa.Let's connect and explore how we can leverage emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth together.
