Assigned to the drafting department, working with 2D drawings and 3D models of customer components to program computer controlled Laser, Plasma and Oxy Torch cutting, drilling and milling machines .Process 3D solid models working with proprietary software to create cutting and bending programs for parts up to 30 feet in length. Assist with Sales Meetings and the troubleshooting of production equipment.

Operations and production manager for the fabrication and assembly of a fully welded aluminum fishhouse, completely insulated and produced as an unfinished shell, ready for you to complete, or as a fully trimmed out year round camper or a toy hauler that lowers to the ground with a low angle drop down ramp. Manufacturing Engineer - CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT - through Bartech Group. Production of the CASE COTTON PICKER ended around 2013. This contract assignment was to restart this product, by finding and updating weld and assembly fixtures needed for the 2017 COTTON build. After this was accomplished, my assignment shifted to assisting with the assembly process, to troubleshoot and provide engineering support and supervision as needed. As the 2017 COTTON build came off the line, I documented and stored the fixtures, so they will be protected and ready to use the next time cotton harvesters are built.

CONTRACT assignment through ICONMA, Troy, MI.Provide support for the Header welding operations. Troubleshoot and resolve robotic and manual weld fixture issues. Resolve problems with pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and PLC systems. Negotiated with vendor to change their Pop-Rivet manufacturing process, to eliminate internally produced shavings that were being drawn into the rivet guns, causing them to jam. Assist with daily supervision and production. CI 200 -Continuous Improvement Team Engineer for Safety, Production and Quality projects.

Welding application and assembly process troubleshooter. Resolved weld fixture, weldment and assembly issues for producing farm applicators. Designed and fabricated equipment to hold and rotate large weldments. Conducted continuous process improvements for manufacturing and assembly. Assisted with design of weld fixtures needed to produce new products. Worked with contractors to install new equipment for capital projects.

Manufacturing Engineer - Special projects - welding and assembly operations to support other CASE Plants. Set up and facilitated off site welding operation to produce large cultivator frames shipped to Canada. Facilitated 2008 build of Canadian "CRUMBLER" Product, to be inventoried and shipped out of Benson, MN. Devised special stacking skids that allowed 3 complete CRUMBLERS to shipped on a single flatbed trailer. Facilitated startup and production of over 90 weldments, we fabricated for the CASE plant in Fargo, MN. Converted Canada's Pull Behind Sprayer, produced as a KIT of parts, into a fully assembled unit, shipped out of Benson. Created hydraulic system to fill, test and fold up sprayer booms. Troubleshoot fabrication, weld, paint and assembly issues. Implement Air, DC and battery powered Torque Control nut drivers. Continuous improvement projects, Kaizens, Kanbans, JIT kitting projects.

Assigned to facility department prior to sale of company. Lean assembly lines, converting 5,000 WIP lines to single piece flow with only 10 WIP parts. Photograph and Videotape assembly operations, produced documentation and training CDs. Created floor plans with air, electrical and facility requirements, needed to produce each part. Audited asset records, obtain vendor production certification for NAFTA shipping documents.
