As a licensed audiologist, professor, and researcher, I work effectively with people across the life-span to facilitate enhanced communication through evidence-based practice and to take a proactive role in preventing hearing loss and maintaining communicative health. Through a process of shared discovery between the audiologist and patient, we focus on optimizing residual hearing and apply communication strategies via a patient-centered approach. I mentor graduate students in hearing science and audiology and conduct research that addresses clinical aspects of auditory physiology and perception.
