Other examples: a San Francisco based 3D laser scanning company (3dvdt.com), an eCommerce wine site (drinjk.com) and a local non-profit, the Roseville Urban Forest Foundation (rosevilletree.org).In addition to main dev activities, produced and created product marketing and training videos (weblamb.com/video-marketing). Roles: developed recipe management, Fitbit and glucose monitor components, created Bluetooth test app for the hw, and prototyped a voice recognition app. Consulted on various life cycles of project from UI design to testing.Independent Contractor: Individually designed, implemented, tested and published four apps to the Apple App Store. The apps are: “Show Me the Value! GPS Home Estimator”, “Math Castle - Arithmetic Fun”, “Math Castle - Algebra Fun” and “Count Me In Music Tutor”. Three apps include In-App purchases.The estimator app uses Core Location to get the user’s GPS coordinates which it displays on a map (MapKit). Next nearby addresses are found using a radius of points queried through Google’s street address REST API. A user then selects an address and home estimation data is displayed based on Zillow’s REST API.The two math apps focus on making math fun as arithmetic and algebra practice become a game. The player helps a wizard solve fireball equations to protect their castle, while listening to classical music. SpriteKit is used primarily.“Count Me In Music Tutor” is used to listen and play along with more than 80 songs from over 20 master composers. It uses Core Audio and MIDI to provide voice-counting and traditional metronomes to help users play along with their music. Currently in discussions with top music publisher Alfred Publishing to license their content.Created a supporting website for each app. Music app site includes the app’s sheet music in PDF form.Audited Stanford CS193P, “Developing Apps for iOS in Swift”, spring 2016.
