"Tractor Time" what does that mean to you? I can't tell you that, only you can define that for yourself. I can however tell you what it means to me. I owned a 50 acre horse farm in KY for 12 years. During that time my life was very busy. I was running an Insulation company with 20+ employees. Most weeks I was one of those 60-80 hours per week people you always hear about that burn out in their career after time. We also had 2 kids (one special needs that spent a lot of her life in the hospital), more animals than I could usually count, and this 50 acre farm to maintain. Now to me it was a playground. We had the shooting ranges, fishing lakes, horse back riding trails, dirt bike tracks...literially it had it all. I can remember many times driving home and seeing my neighbors farms always looking pristine. Finding the time to do like my neighbors did was very hard for me. Then my tractor came along and my life had a noticeable change. I loved my time on my tractor. What I learned over time was it brought a simple peace to my crazy life and allowed me to persevere through what ever life challenges were going on at that time. I found it so surreal that I installed lights all over it so I could spend time on it all night long when I needed the mental break from life (always leaving my phone at the house). Some of my most fond memories on my tractor was when I got to see the sun set & rise on the same tractor ride. What I soon realized was that I became a better dad, husband, & businessman the more "Tractor Time" I was able to get in per week.
