I am a proud member of the Datacenter Engineering Strategy team at Microsoft, delivering best-in class cloud enterprise datacenters empowering our customers to achieve more. My role is conceptual designer developing next generation datacenter infrastructure solutions in response to emerging technologies and IT improvements. I am a subject matter expert in civil, structural, and architectural responses within datacenter design. I thoroughly enjoy the collaborative environment datacenter design provides, working closely with internal and external colleagues to continuously improve datacenter performance, cost efficiencies, and build schedule.I began my career at CH2M. Ten years of mentoring allowed me to develop specific skills in rapid-prototyping and conceptual design. As an architectural designer, I focused on sustainable solutions for high technology and science buildings. I specialized in BIM modeling and advanced graphic programs, providing building elevations, renderings, massing, conceptual design and code analysis. My background included work for a variety of advanced technology projects, including high performance data centers, semiconductor fabrication facilities, solar PV manufacturing, and technology parks.
