I am utterly inspired by what Maya Angelou, the famous poet, has said: "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style." From my personal perspective, it is a recipe for a meaningful life that I want to live.Ever since I was a child, I have always wanted to major in Computer Engineering. Despite the fact that it was a hectic 5-year journey packed with projects, seeing the outcome of a program I developed from scratch was always gratifying. The emerging field of extended reality (XR) has particularly sparked my interest, and I have hands-on experience in developing augmented reality (AR) applications. I believe that with the accelerated advancement in the field, it will play a pivotal role in several sectors in the future.Working as a part-time English teaching assistant while studying has helped me get exposed and accustomed to the work environment early on in my life. Not only has it aided my personal and professional development, but it has also boosted my confidence as thanks to God, I managed to maintain excellence both academically and at work. I want to pursue my passion for developing impactful applications, using the trendiest technologies, that would positively affect people’s lives.
