When I was a kid, the most dreadful question adults could ask me was: "Which profession do you like the most?" Which one to choose? Baker? Police Officer? Lawyer...? How can you define your daily professional activity for the rest of your life in only one single word? I knew I felt in flow while writing, I liked to face math problems, I felt good talking in public and networking, I was interested in politics, philosophy and economics. When choosing a degree, I did Aerospace Engineering because of the professional freedom it gives you: I know people at NASA, at BionTech, at Google, at banks, at politics... that are Aerospace Engineers. While doing so, I started Economics in order to fullfil my philosophical and political appetite. When I ended Economics & Aerospace Engineering, I realised that the abilities I loved the most about myself weren't learned at University. Sure, you could arge that my mental structure was consolidated while studying how to bring rockets to space or discussing economical theories. However, learning how to lead people, motivate them, persevere in a personal business, think big and out of the box... those abilities were not taught at university. Furthermore, I started Economics in order to learn about the financing and investing world with very unlucky results: Warren Buffett was not mentioned in the whole degree. My economical and aerospace knowledge was devoted to one single purpose: work for State agencies. For instance, I knew how to write a general state budget but I didn't know how to buy shares in the stock market. Together with COVID-19 2020 while doing my undergraduate thesis in the University of Colorado (UCCS), I knew that with a drop of 35% in the SP500 it was an excellent moment to invest. However, I didn't have any knowledge! (thanks, university...). Since then, I've been reading tones of finance and investing books. I founded Baboon Technologies, a Wealth-Tech start-up focused on finding investment opportunities using Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. I speak Catalan, Spanish, English & French. I'm highly passionate about programming, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence with a good knowledge of Python, Matlab, C++, SQL and R. I have professional experience as start-up investor in Aticeo Capital Investors, tennis instructor and public speaker in Zoom Hits doing science divulgation. Related to my personal projects and interests, I wrote a novel called "Los Resplandecientes" (available in Amazon) and I'm a fan of self-improvement and philosophy books. Currently, I'm taking Baboon to the Moon!
