Early Careers Program Manager
CurrentResponsible for developing, managing and executing our university relations, university recruiting, veteran recruiting, and high school apprenticeship programs. Provide strategic direction, leading change, and working through a network of internal stakeholders to enable the organization to hire a diverse cohort of early career talent. • Develop and execute the company's university relations/recruiting and veteran recruiting strategy, including identifying target schools, building relationships with key stakeholders, and managing campus and recruiting events.• Oversee the high school apprenticeship program, including identifying target schools, developing program curriculum, managing program logistics, and coordinating with school personnel.• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for university relations best practices, strategies, processes, quality benchmarks and standards for recruiting.• Strategic design of intern and early career programs• Lead change management throughout the organization focused on forecasting talent needs, hiring for potential, intern conversions, and designing engaging internship experiences.• Provide insights, recommendations, and strategic direction to our Leadership Team on campus environment, digital innovations and best practices across Early Careers (EC) to ensure best in class talent results and increase our attractiveness to the next generation of leaders. • Establish a network of internal stakeholders to create and grow relationships with various associations and schools to grow Woodward’s presence at these institutions and organizations. • Review and reporting of ROI on program, key performance metrics and status reporting. Monitor program metrics to ensure the effectiveness of the early career programs, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to ensure identification of diverse talent is central to the sourcing and recruitment strategy.
