This post is exceptionally varied and exciting, and it is one which the post‐holder, working across year‐groups within the College, has the chance to develop and shape. It is a pivotal post in the ongoing development of the relatively new Sixth Form Centre and in the development of the programme of Information, Advice and Guidance offered to students. It is a post that is also central to the wider development of Careers and Futures advice across all year‐groups in the senior school. It is a role that involves extensive involvement with students, parents, employers and academic institutions, and I work at the heart of the Sixth Form team, being supported and managed by the Head of Sixth Form and Progression. I joined to help GS and my fellow Board members to successfully grow its market leading position in the Executive public and not for profit sectors recruitment markets. The IL market in GS revenue grew over 300% between 2012 and 2015. A well run business that knitted well with my previous experiences and broad business ethos of providing our clients with an excellent service at ALL times while continually keeping an eye on costs to drive consistent and good profits.During my time with GS I oversaw and helped grow the business through concerted BD and clear direction as well as assisted in helping develop our new bespoke and cutting edge recruitment and applicant tracking software- We also reconfigured and built new and more focussed specialisms during this time.I have contributed positively more broadly to the overall business enjoying rapid growth of both turnover and profits and during this time we became the fastest growing recruitment business in the UK in 2014.In November 2014 our founder and previous owner successfully sold the business under an MBO with the support of a hugely impressive Private Equity House.
