Oversee compliance and ethics of the legal operations, which include responsibility of all legal activities across a number of different departments, including pre-litigation, litigation, first-party property, worker's compensation and medical malpractice. Responsible for ensuring efficiency between departments and across the whole firm to maximize the organization's operation, while continuing to strategically grow and develop the business of the firm. Key areas of responsibility include staffing and overseeing management to ensure accountability of business objectives, values and the successful representation of the firm's clients.

Manage an office of 20 people, attorneys and staff, in one of the largest of the 13 offices of Fidelity National Law Group, the in-house litigation arm of Fidelity National Title, the only Fortune 500 title company in the nation.

• Practice involves the representation of Fidelity National Title Group, one of the largest and most prominent providers of title insurance in the world, in suits against the Company, as well as the representation of insureds.• First chair on over 30 cases at any given time with liabilities that exceed over 5 million dollars.• Responsible for conducting trials, motion practice, depositions, as well as developing strategy in order to resolve suits without the need for further litigation.• Negotiated with multiple parties in order to achieve the resolution of suits without litigation when warranted by business decisions of the Company. • Responsible for weekly and monthly reports which provide an assessment for current case status and work closely with several other departments located throughout the Company.

• Practice involves representation of clients in both civil and criminal defense, with cases including but not limited to credit card defense, breach of contract, bankruptcy, mortgage foreclosure, violations of municipal ordinances and probation violations.• Participate in arbitrations, mediations and motion practice in various civil matters. • Hired by Daniel J. Stermer, court appointed Receiver for Hess Kennedy, to aid in the recovery of receivership estate. Facilitated major global settlements with Chase Bank, Capital One Bank and HSBC.• Manage all aspects of forming and running law firm including hiring and overseeing support staff.• Marketing and networking to secure new business.

• Practice focused on criminal law, specifically cases ranging from felonies punishable by life, to misdemeanors, including DUI and domestic violence cases.• Handled a caseload of 150+ cases. • Successfully litigated several jury trials, several motions to suppress, and negotiated various plea deals with opposing counsel.• Handled all aspects of trial preparation including jury selection, preparing witnesses and exhibits for trials, and conducting depositions.
