A licensed architect in California, I have developed a thorough knowledge of the building design process, from the conceptual design phase through construction administration. My combination of skills and experience contribute to my ability to incorporate CAD and Building Information Modeling through all phases of building design and construction. In my role as a BIM Manager, I'm focusing on how to incorporate the full potential of Building Information Modeling (BIM) into the traditional workflows of an electrical engineering firm. My tasks include creation of BIM content, development of templates and workflows, and the implementation of numerous cloud-based collaboration tools. I'm also exploring the impacts of recent requirements to incorporate facilities management data into a BIM design model, and the further goal of how to combine design, construction and facilities management elements and data for a "one model" approach to BIM.Personal Attributes:• Can think out of the box, can envision the big picture, can develop new and streamline existing workflows; all with the goal of increasing productivity and profitability. • Multi-tasker who can work unsupervised; am resourceful and reliable. Can dive deep and discover important issues than could easily be overlooked. My work always looks professionally done, and is correct and complete.• Team-oriented; am cooperative and patient with others, and willing to do whatever is needed. I understand the value of sharing knowledge to raise the effectiveness of the entire team. • Can stay focused but with a lighthearted touch; am genuinely friendly and interested in others.Away from the office, my absolute favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. We like to backpack, see plays and hang out with our neighbors. I also enjoy playing music with my friends.
