CurrentAs an SVP at Fidelity Institutional, I lead the architecture, data modeling, and platform engineering services. Fidelity Institutional provides investment solutions to registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, banks, pension plans, endowments, foundations, and consultants, offering custody, clearing, flexible trading solutions, and access to a vast pool of securities.In my role, I serve as the Chief Architect, enabling critical business outcomes by designing industry-leading solutions that are highly scalable, extremely reliable, enhance user experiences, and drive new revenue through shared brokerage and wealth management platforms. Specific platforms include capital markets capabilities like order management and routing, as well as core operational platforms, performance management systems, wealth management, and sales and marketing. I lead enterprise, solution, and data architecture practices. I am also responsible for creating an end-to-end technology strategy that aligns and enables our business strategy. This includes understanding the value and overall design of 1,000+ existing applications, while leveraging innovative technologies enabled by the cloud, AI, ML, and LLM.My responsibilities extend beyond architecture to include engineering, delivery, and support for more than 25 common technology platforms. These platforms cover areas such as authorization, messaging, customer alerting, and API enablement. I collaborate with peer organizations to design, build, and deliver platforms using current and emerging technologies like AWS cloud services, Kafka, CockroachDB, Oracle, Snowflake, and Salesforce. My collaborative approach fosters business growth and often results in significant savings.I am also a member of Fidelity’s Technology Architecture Group (TAG), which governs technology across the broader enterprise. Fidelity manages $15 trillion in assets, supports 3.5 million daily trades, and serves over 43 million investors as of Q3 2023.
