Assigned by Governor to this executive branch department to reform State’s recovery operation responsible for disbursing $4B in federal funding after 2012’s Superstorm Sandy. Elevated to run entire operation. Led senior staff and team of 300. Served as liaison to and led coordination of federal government agencies, and managed oversight of programs run by other State agencies. Reshaped recovery organization and programs including programmatic and financial data tracking, program development, customer service, public outreach, and overall responsiveness.
