My role in this position is to lead transversal projects across the complete Airbus Defence & Space (Military Aircrafts, Space and CIS) involving all the functions creating an efficient and Agile environment and providing significant results in terms of efficiency and E2E process improvement.As Innovation Leader is key to establish an Innovation strategy that transforms the company in the way we boost new business and products using mainly LEAN STARTUP and AGILE methodologies to capture quickly customer feedback and improve our products in our incubator labs after each iteration.

During years Lean has been applied to process improvement, in Engineering the challenge is to develop a strategy towards Lean Product Development definitively turn Mindset of people into Lean.Tools as SBCE, Design for Value, Lean Startup and Lean Co-Engineering with Suppliers were some of the challenges faced during this period.Together with a team of 8 change agent our role is to continue with the implementation of Lean at Engineering in transport and combat aircrafts across 2 countries (Spain & Germany), 2 sites (Getafe & Manching) and supporting +3200 Airbus employees.In this position together with a team of 8 change agents our role is to lead the implementation of Lean Product Development in Engineering in transport and combat aircrafts across 2 countries (Spain & Germany), 2 sites (Getafe & Manching) and supporting +3300 Airbus employees.During this period we have implemented Lean Product Development in key military products that have provided outstanding results in terms of customer satisfaction.SBCE process has been developed and implemented in critical products and reworks and costs in design process have been improved in more than 30%.Additionally Hoshin Kanri process has been implemented and stablished as key process for strategy setting and main driver boosting innovation in new products and services.

The purpose of the role is to provide coach, advice and expertise in the implementation of Lean in the whole A400M organization, deploying Lean in the areas of Program Management, Manufacturing, Design engineering, and MAP between others. In this role is needed to lead the implementation of Lean across 4 countries (UK, Germany, France & Spain), 6 sites (Filton, Bremen, Ulm, Toulouse, Getafe & Seville) and supporting +1000 Airbus employees, as well as, responsible for the support and development of Change Agents and Lean improvers for A400M organization.

Getafe (Madrid)

The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the implementation of Lean in Specific Design engineering areas. Key account holder for the RFE engineering organisations for A320/A330/MRB & Customer Services (147 Airbus employees, across 2 countries and 5 sites), as well as responsible for the support and development of 2 lean leaders.Key achievements at this role have been:•To influence and lead developing strategies to successfully and sustainably deploy and implement lean within Engineering Specific Design at Airbus Operations.•To change organisational way of working and mindset by introduction and systematic use of lean tools such as visual management, value stream mapping, workflow control boards, 5S and practical problem solving.•CHINA supplier supporter in the use of Lean tools such as visual management, value stream mapping, and practical problem solving in order to optimize their processes.•Nominated as Subject Matter Expert of the Lean lighthouse for visual management in the complete RFE Specific Design developing the whole SQCDP structure and leading workshop for KPI´s identification and SQCDP simulations to teach managers and teams how to use visual management tools.•To lead and facilitate Kaizen events, Workshops & PPS sessions, as well as Voice of Customer workshops.•Supporting Customer Services in the development and further deployment of step change improvements, as well as standardisation of MRB processes to avoid impact on plant deliveries.•Empowering and engaging people to launch them to win the best change behaviour award within Specific Design Engineering in 2011 and 2012.

The purpose of the role was to provide specialist Lean support and direction to the plant teams, focused on driving all Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives in A330/340.The main tasks and responsibilities were:•To apply Lean principles in order to increase the plant overall effectiveness and productivity levels. To contribute to LEAN deployment, providing continuous support in all lean activities and to ensure that LEAN policy was followed.•To contribute solving repetitive defects within Corrective Actions Working Groups (PPS sessions).•To map the processes looking for non value added activities and wastes in order to improve efficiency.•To create and develop a performance tracker for LR line.•To create and develop continuously improvement projects in line with current cost savings policy.•To attend and support SQCDP meetings in shop floor with team leaders, empowering them to problem solving culture.•To foster performance efficiency throughout logistics improvements, parts distribution optimization, new production methods, etc.•To establish plans to deploy in shop floor measurements to avoid Quality Problems from Customers.•To support production activities in order to ensure major components delivery in terms of quality, cost and schedule.•To contribute to spread lean mindset within manufacturing areas.
