My work connects research to impact. I translating complex technical reports to formats that can be easily understood, helping make knowledge widely accessible. I work with researchers to design effective ways to engage diverse stakeholder groups who benefit can benefit from Busara's innovations in applying behavioral science to create impactful solutions that benefit communities. My work connects policy to practice by creating an environment where behavioral scientists, and researchers work and dialogue with diverse groups such as government officials, policymakers, community groups, civil society organizations to enhance citizen participation in public policies.

I am a Founding Board Member helping set up the organisation in Kenya.

The Kenyanist is a podcast that reimagines public policy by discussing Kenya's political, economic, and social issues by engaging policymakers, academics, business, government, and civic leaders on issues affecting Kenyans.I manage content and provide publicity for the Kenyanist by creating and scheduling content and managing social media, subscriptions, and engagements. I also provide background research and prepare interview scripts on the topics under discussion ranging from cultural, economic, social, and political issues as well as policy conversations that influence Kenya's public policies.

I supported the strategic communications by helping in the design and execution of strategies aimed at building a good image of the ministry and in essence building Kenya's global profile. One of my key moments was working on the ministry’s media campaigns including Kenya’s successful United Nations Security Council (UNSC) 2020 campaign, Amina Mohammed’s WTO campaign, and multiple diplomatic events amongst other high profile engagements. I also led a team that supported digitisation within the public affairs department.

As a projects research assistant, I collected and analyzed data on governance, security, policy issues, management, consumer behaviour, market trends and public relationship. This involved literature review, document review, moderating focus group discussions, interviewing informants, data synthesis and reporting.

I participated in a 15-week programme by the International Citizen Service (ICS) and Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO), which brings young people from the UK and developing countries like Kenya to work with local communities for social development.Working with local partners I trained over 100 primary actors - young rural farmers on productivity and linked them with relevant stakeholders where they received funding and business support. Furthermore, I nurtured partnerships with local CBOs on joint projects for continued program cycles. I also took the lead in the media committee seamlessly managing social media, photography, and publishing of weekly briefs and monthly reports. At the end of the project, I managed a team of six return volunteers to deliver a social project in Kiambu County with less than a week of planning.

The Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies is a think tank based in Nairobi that specialises in security studies and public policy.I increased correspondence while managing policy advocacy through digital media in support of stakeholder engagements. I pioneered the use of digital media as a tool in policy advocacy by engaging with primary actors through digital channels which increased impact. I also helped document and establish an online repository on security and policy issues which cemented the centre's legacy as a premier research institution on security. I also undertook research activities on policy areas and supported the design and execution of major donor sponsored multi-stakeholder projects.
