My work has included leading the Oftel project to introduce European competition law into the UK telecoms sector, which paved the way for the fully liberalised and competitive market we have today, acting as outside counsel to one of the world’s first smartphone manufacturers on its roll-out in Europe, and serving as Tesla’s outside counsel in its formative years, during which I led the negotiations on its ground-breaking deal with Lotus for the joint development and manufacture of Tesla’s first electric vehicle, the multi award-winning Roadster.I also have a focus on complex transactions and regulatory matters involving data and cybersecurity, areas which have become business-critical for organisations in the technology and digital sectors, as well as many others.
