I have been involved at a senior level in the UK mergers and acquisitions industry specialising in the small to mid-market sector for over two decades. My career in M&A began at a national UK business transfer agency in 2000. During a nine year period I progressed within the Company to hold the position of Corporate Director responsible for the London and Southeast market.I have developed a broad base of industry knowledge handling the valuations, sales, acquisitions and mergers of hundreds of independently owned Companies since 2000.I have developed excellent deal making, negotiating and client management skills. Using these skills and my experience I have successfully helped to structure Companies appropriately for sale and maximise deal values for my clients. In 2009 I seized the opportunity to leave my previous Company and establish my own consultancy business. Having worked within the industry for a Company which handles large volumes of clients I am now enjoying offering a very different service. In 2012 I co-founded Leith Mergers & Acquisitions Limited to offer tailored merger and acquisition advisory services to the owners of SME Companies with turnovers of up to £50m or those looking to acquire companies in this market.The ethos which drives the Company is to provide a unique, personally delivered service to a small number of carefully selected clients.
