Working at MBA as a Workforce and Information Manager has been a big course change in my career but I have been able to bring my past experiences and skills to the role and have found myself to be very successful at it. I want to leave in all my hospitality experience as it was a massive part of my life. I have been working within the hospitality industry since I was 16, scrubbing dishes in a little hotel in the countryside. Since then I have held positions front of house within independents and some of the countries biggest high street names. I take pride in service and hospitality, training and development. I have completed my level 3 CIPD Qualification in Human Resources Practice and am looking forward to undertaking the level 5 as soon as I can. I am always looking for a new challenge and ways in which I can further myself. One of my previous roles was with a small but growing brand called Enzo. Originally based in Nantwich the company is expanding operations, the first new site being in Manchester.Working for the Casual Dining Group as a GM for Bella Italia was fantastic. The training was great and I was given a beautiful restaurant in Didsbury. During my time there the team and myself managed to pull the site out of it's slump and increase profits while reducing expenditure. During my time at Learndirect I delivered level 2 and 3 qualifications in Kitchen Services, Food & Beverage Services, Hospitality, Supervision & Leadership as well as new BII courses developed in partnership with the BIIAB.At Lifetime Training I delivered standard NVQ's alongside bespoke qualifications for Greene King's 11 brands as a Regional Hospitality Trainer. My qualifications include PTLLS, the A1 Award for assessors, Health & Safety Level 3 (Merit) and I am a personal licence holder. I also hold a CIPD level 3 qualification in Human Resources Practice and I am an associate member of the CIPD. I am currently working through my NEBOSH NG Certification.I have other relevant experience in training, budgets, marketing strategy, first aid, safeguarding, risk assessments and food safety.When I am not working I find myself (happily) outnumbered at home as the proud father of 2 girls.
