Rail Assets Operations and Maintenance GroupDavid was the Asset Steward/Engineer for the East-West line (green line) of the Singapore MRT Network. He was responsible for setting asset management strategies and plans, performing analyses on asset conditions, conducting whole life cycle management of asset systems and working closely with Operators to implement a risk-based and condition-based maintenance regime for all track assets.

Tuas West Extension ProjectThis project will extend the existing East-West Line by 7.5km comprising of twin tracked viaduct and 4 new above ground station. A 26-hectare depot will also be constructed to provide stabling and maintenance facilities. David's key responsibilities on this project included contracts management, design management, construction management and co-ordination of various system wide contractors including power, signaling, comms, civil viaducts etc.

TSA was a $200m, 6 year Alliance between John Holland and Sydney Trains (RailCorp). Through this alliance David was able to deliver major works across the Sydney Trains network including delivery of civil, track, signalling and overhead traction works. David was able to successfully deliver turnout renewals, track & turnout refurbishment, reconditioning, re-railing and OHW installations all under a 48hr track possession environment. David was responsible for onsite engineering supervision, managing projects cost, program, quality and safety. North Strathfield Rail Underpass:David was responsible for the delivery of the tunnel services package on the NSRU project. NSRU was a $260m project delivering a new 148m dedicated rail underpass for freight trains at North Strathfield and is part of the Northern Sydney Freight Corridor (NSFC) Program. David's responsibilities included project and engineering management for all tunnel services packages including; delivery of electrical systems, C&CS, fire-fighting systems, tunnel trade waste facility, tunnel dewatering & tunnel fitout. As the tunnel services engineer he successfully managed a multi-disciplinary team, a diverse scope of works and was able to actively mentor and coach younger graduate engineers within his team.
