Ricicle Cards is a British brand established in January 2020 creating exciting, contemporary and beautiful greeting cards. We proudly print every card in England, using GF Smith papers milled in the Lake District. We also care deeply about this little planet of ours, so all of the materials we use are FSC certified. Our cards are packed using 100% recyclable materials too.

I managed the wholesale arm of greeting card publisher Card Nest. Big Fan is a design and branding agency based in Bristol and sister company to Card Nest. I managed a mix of clients, locally and internationally. From start-ups to established businesses looking to rebrand.Working within a small team, my role was wide ranging in its requirements. Heavily involved in new business development, online and at networking events, leading through to pitches and compiling proposals. As a client's primary point of contact, I made great efforts to ensure all parties were kept updated throughout a project, ensuring that both client and agency gain the most value from the partnership. Social media managementIn less than two years I built up a very successful social media strategy; bringing the company’s twitter following from zero to over 1000 by promoting content I had written in newsletters, blogs, news features and press releases as well as giving the profile a personality that was relatable to its audience. I coordinated the Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, blog, Pinterest and ensured that the messages were consistent throughout.CopywritingI wrote two newsletters a month, a weekly blog, ongoing press releases and timely features. In a successful campaign in October 2012, I partnered with a charity to provide a guide to workplace bullying which was featured on both ours and their website. This could range from working on a launch for an expanded office by putting a marketing plan together and seeing it through to completion, or creating effective marketing materials to promote their business. I was also tasked with ensuring the relationship with the publication the company advertised with was excellent in order for me to negotiate.Database managementI produced targeted e-shots to our database which led to an increase in enquiries and attendance on open days and webinars.Website project managementI project managed the redesign and development of the company’s two websites. I then managed these on a daily basis using the Drupal CMS.
