David is an effective Non-Executive Director and Chairman. He has extensive experience of Venture Capital and Private Equity, 10 years of which were spent with 3i plc. While at 3i, David oversaw Media Sector investments globally as Sector Partner for Media and was involved in deals up to €2Bn in value. As Non-Executive Director, appointments have ranged from an AIM listed marketing services firm, an Indian Media business, a UK TV production business, a construction firm to a bars and restaurants business. As Non-Executive Chairman he lead the successful sale of a hotel group in 2014. Prior to entering Private Equity David was a successful CEO in Engineering and Media for 10 years. A Chartered Certified Accountant, David holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester University, an MBA from Manchester Business School and a Diploma in Marketing. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.Today David is a Senior Adviser to Synaps Partners llp working on a range of assignments.
