David was a key member of the ATG Professional Services Team providing both onsite and offsite digital leadership tor the Tesco Direct Migration project. David provided best practice advice and design principles across multiple streams of this fast moving, challenging project. Responsible for designing and developing custom ATG Customer service centre (CSC) and bespoke Commerce modules and components to support the Tesco Customer Service Centre and online Tesco direct website.

David provided a fit-gap analysis between the clients existing Customer service Centre and ATG Commerce Service Centre. David enabled the client to understand the available functionality, how it differed from their existing system and provided best practice advice on implementing and extending CSC.

David worked on many client and internal projects as an ATG architect and Technical consultant.

David was responsible for the architectural governance of the ATG platform, providing high level and solutions designs, reviewing designs from multiple vendors, supporting code improvements and design integrity. David also worked closely with the Business unit to improve the delivery processes and quality of deliverables.Working on RFPs and RFIs

David was responsible for the initial setup and business process management of the clients global ATG Intranet solution and support services as a Centre of Excellence. David’s experience includes managing the relationship between suppliers and customers in various projects, working closely with the client facilitating workshops with key business users and ensuring the client’s needs are met. David was involved heavily in the business analysis and selection of the best approach that fulfilled the clients strategic vision and enabled the smooth transition of support services.

David provided Architectural Guidance and best practice expertise to ensure the successful launch of Vodafone Germany’s online Shop re-platforming to ATG 2006.3. His roles including working with Vodafone’s Lead Architects, Business Analysts and ATG Professional Services to support a Telco based product Catalog, advising on best practices for a team of consultants whilst adhering to a bespoke business process model.

As part of a system audit on a recently migrated Web Store, David was tasked with identifying improvements to process, code quality, application and physical architecture. David further worked with the business team to prioritise, triage the improvements to ensure appropriate delivery.

Developer in Core Team setting up the re-branded Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide and Post Office websites. This utilised ATG 6 Portal framework, Portal configuration via Portal Administration Tool, ACC, SQL via an Oracle 9i Database, ATG Page and Layout Templates, JSP page development and Gear configuration. During the last two months I also supported the content task force and design teams.
