Head of Iberia Accounting & Tax Department with offices In Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon and over 150 people.As member of the Market Management team, supervising of Accounting & Tax Supervisors for Spain & Portugal for region/market deliveries while collaborating with other service leaders in a global matrix to design and ensure the adoption of best practices with in the Accounting & Tax area. - Contributing to growth and client satisfaction by developing and leading the practice on Iberia- Identifying opportunities, define priorities and leading the execution of agreed actions. - Providing input to the global practice strategy and leading the strategy execution in Iberia of the agreed market objectives for the practice. - Identifying and apply Iberia specific variances from the global strategy.- Development of an estrategy to ensure department’s synergies and efficiency- Definition of a people management strategy within the department to ensure engagement, development and continuity of the highest level of client service.

Reporting to the Accounting & Tax Lead, Co-supervising of the Client Accounting & Tax compliance department, composed of over 70 members. Main functions:- Co-supervising Team Leaders in order to ensure the correct functioning of the department. - Development and follow up appropriate procedures and organization. - Monitoring law modifications, client transactions and teams' performed tasks in order to ensure the correct treatment of operations avoiding business risks. - Ensuring the correct submission of internal reports in time and place for internal finance purposes. - Recruitment of accounting staff. - Development of a people management strategy based on the accounting profiles and needs of the department identifying potential risks and opps for the department. - Preparation and presentation of offers to cover needs from potential, new and current clients. - Finding new commercial opportunities.

Acccounting: reception and posting of incoming invoices, bank reconciliations, depreciation, and accruals calculation, treasury management. Monthly accounting closing (credit collection and payments). Tax preparation.
