Continued as Product owner of Insights Netflow collector. Implemented alerting feature based on specific request of banking customer. Created additional alerting functionality for usage, thresholding etc. Enhanced the API by increasing amount and adding security.Prototyped a cloud native solution of Insights Arbitrator using azure functions, Grafana and logi. Functional demo to team, however pursuing cloud solution was cancelled.Assisted teammate in separation of Insights Dashboard monolithic code into docker containers. Moved to an Ubuntu based system instead of proprietary linux. As a part of the cellular evolution from 2G to 4G, my responsibilities included:• Transport architect and developer on Mobility Management Entity• Technical lead for all cards on Selection distribution and Vocoder Unit (SVU); Bearer Payload Processor (BPP)3, Interface Switching Board (ISB)2 and Dual OC-3 (DOC3). Created the transport solution and lead 10 engineers on BPP3. Sent to China for SVU initial product rollout• Repeatedly trained different teams overseas• Simultaneously resolved multiple issues across various platforms and releases• Root Cause Analysis team member, meeting weekly• BASH/PERL/EXPECT scripting to port, package, stage, install and build in a Linux environment for Mobility Management II• Technical owner/creator of the switch management application leveraging the Broadcom SDK on BPP2• Platform diagnostic lead for BPP and BPP2, coordinating development activities between hardware and firmware. As a part of the transport MMI commands on an Intel switch, I discovered we could use the vendor provided functionality to create an on board packet sniffer. This removed the need for physical interaction to gather specialized logs, making the job easier for everyone. It was so valuable the item was back ported• Web Inspection Tool team member, adding a relational database via mySQL allowing metric gathering and analysis• Created the exception handling on BPP, giving me the opportunity to assist debugging issues for all areas• On Packet Switching Interface project, created timer service (HLD, LLD, code, and tests) and debugged OSPF issues. Working with third party vendor brought from overseas for extended on site assignment on issue related to LAPD and Power PC 8260, avoided the pending field recall and rework of hardware saving in excess of $10 million• Received performance rewards on a regular basis
