About David Mcfarland
I am a senior studying Chemical Engineering and Computer Science at Brigham Young University. I am working towards a future with clean, cheap energy that is accessible to all. I am optomistic about Fusion Energy generation as a potential source of that energy, and I am working hard to do my part to make Fusion a reality. In my studies I deeply enjoy advanced molecular and continuum simulations, and especially their applications as powerful tools to develop innovative solutions. I strongly believe that the most important work that we have is the relationships with our loved ones. Through innovation, hard work, and compassion I believe we can be better as families, friends, communities, and world citizens. I am always excited to talk about science, and nothing makes me happier than realizing I was wrong about something so I can learn something new.
