I rejoined Maze Rattan to investigate the viability of a new range for the company. Following significant research and market trials this was not a compatible addition to the companies existing products. As such I took on the role of Senior Account Manager and Office Manger working with all departments to ensure the support of the sales team and enabling our success. During this time, we have significantly expanded the range and grown the customer base whilst further developing the infrastructure and systems of the business.

Mildenhall, Suffolk

The company had previously had no dedicated marketing or sales roles. It was my role to set up and develop social media profiles along with an overhaul of the website to better present and communicate the companies services and values. Alongside this role I managed the needs of the existing customer base with both regular visits and reviews, whilst seeking out and gaining new business for the system development and monthly IT support services.

Starting as a Junior Account Manager I was subsequently promoted to Key Account Manager responsible for several major national accounts, along with fulfilling support duties to the Managing Director. This entailed research of new products / businesses and new product development. The team significantly expanded during this time and I coordinated the management of the customer base amongst the team along with marketing activities and trade shows.

My role was to liaise between the technical teams and the clients, explaining and promoting the suggested environmental remedial works to gain approval. The main client base was Insurers and the appointed Loss Adjusters, however I expanded on this and won business in the Oil Distribution field for site works and reduced the companies dependency on the existing base. Due to internal restructuringI was promoted to a national role over five depots working closely with each of the teams to support their proposals.
