The major reason for most of these mistakes was lack of education. I always tell my clients, "People don't make mistakes on purpose, they just didn't know any better." My goal is to bring things up they are unaware of and educate people so that they know what to do before they make decisions. Its obviously cheaper to avoid a problem then it is to solve one! I served as a member of the Board of Governors for 2 years helping to shape the organization’s vision, to provide feedback on membership and on implementation of Academy processes. I also advised on educational subjects for future trainings, presentation materials for future Academy Summits as well as review of Academy trust sample documents.
