I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of New Orleans, where I learned the fundamentals of market research, consumer behavior, and digital marketing. I also have an IBC Fundamentals of JavaScript, Function Programming, and Web Development Level 3 from Operation Spark Bootcamp. Since November 2021, I have been working as a Director of Data Systems & Engineering at Orleans Parish School Board, where I oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data systems and applications that support the district's operations and strategic goals. I have a strong background in web development, database management, and cloud computing, with proficiency in Python, Javascript, and Front-End and Backend/Database development.In my current role, I work with a team of data analysts, engineers, and administrators to ensure the quality, security, and accessibility of data across the organization. I also collaborate with various stakeholders, such as school leaders, teachers, parents, and community partners, to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions that enhance their decision-making and performance. Some of the projects I have contributed to include building a serverless web application for student enrollment, integrating data from multiple sources into a centralized dashboard, and automating data quality checks and reports. I am passionate about using data to improve education outcomes and equity, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies that can help me achieve this vision. I believe that I can bring a diverse and valuable perspective to any team, as I have a unique combination of technical, analytical, and marketing skills, as well as a deep understanding of the education sector and its challenges and opportunities.
